 Acquisition of 100% of ALCON, to add new copper alloys and new production process.

 Acquisition of 95% of the French company MARLYD, to improve production methodology, switching from static to continuous casting for copper alloys. Beginning of the activities in the stainless steel investment casting field.

Acquisition of 10% of METIN in the Far East.
1998

Acquisition of 55% of FONDERIA ARTISTICA BATTAGLIA, to add new alloys and new production methods. Acquisition of 100% of company Marlita (former Microfusione Trentine), to increase production capability of the investment casting process.
1999
 Acquisition of 49% of M2P and its controlled company MIKROMA, to add machining and assembling process and to enter the market of aeronautics. Transfer of Marlita plants to Poland and founding of 2M, to reduce production costs.
2000
 Acquisition of 100% of FONDERIE MAZZA, to add stainless steel sand casting methodology.
2001
 Investment to increase the production capability of Marlyd MHD by 400%. Purchase from the SCHIARETTI Group of three lines for continuous casting, installed in Fonderie Mazza.
2002

Acquisition of 100% of FIP Industries, aiming to increase and improve production capabilities, thanks to an advanced continuous casting process.
2003

Move of 4 lines of continuous casting to Fip Industrie in Lion, to allow a better productive and qualitative organization.
